"Rikas Rakas Köyhä Rakas" is a project of a group of students in TAMK University of Applied Sciences' School of Art and Media. It is written and directed by Maiju Laitinen. The project is a combination of a film noir short film and an internet game. Michael has done all the sound and music work for this project (recording, editing, mixing, composing). The score approaches the film noir theme by combining elements from classic jazz-based scores with modern elements.

The story takes place in the late 1920's Finland. A murder happens in a mansion. Now it is your job as a detective to solve the case and see how it all happened.

The film's cast includes a respectable Finnish actor, Pekka Laiho (The Archer, A Taste of Success, Shadows in Paradise, Matti), who plays the role of Kaarlo Hartikainen. Other actors: Silja Kartimo, Jyri Ojansivu, Mira Nevala and Mirja-Liisa Pöntinen. The film is produced by Pekka Ollula and Iida Höckert.
